Freeverse Software on Monday kicked off its “Big Week” event with the release of an expansion pack for Legion Arena, its Roman-era squad-based real time strategy game. The expansion pack, “ Cult of Mithras,” costs $14.95 and is available for download.
Cult of Mithras continues the action where the Roman Campaign in Legion Arena leaves off, adding a supernatural twist to this game, which focus on the battlefield action between Roman warriors and their Celtic counterparts.
The Cult of Mithras expansion adds armies of Fire Demons, Shadow Warriors and Ghost Legions — 35 new battles have been added across seven campaigns, with seven new unit types. The storyline has been enhanced, “linked battles” that prevent healing up between fights, new graphical effects and new special equipment.
The expansion pack requires the original game in order to play.
Freeverse’s “Big Week” continues throughout the rest of the week with new product announcements and promotions.
