Econ Technologies has updated its template-based printing software Portraits & Prints to version 2.2.1. A free update for registered users, Portraits & Prints costs $30 for its standard version or $50 for the Pro Edition.
Portraits & Prints lets you add digital photos and other content to a catalog, make enhancements to the pictures, choose a template then export or print your photos. The software automatically arranges the photos onto templates and displays them on the screen before printing.
New to this release are more than 50 new free templates that are holiday-themed. Econ Technologies has include Christmas, New Year and Calendar templates along with new “Wanted Posters.” With this update Portraits & Prints now includes more than 100 holiday templates including Hanukah, Kwanzaa and Winter cards.
Portraits & Prints is a Universal binary that requires a 400MHz G3 or faster and Mac OS X v10.3 or later. A downloadable demo is available.
