Embraceware has released Awaken 3.0, a new version of their alarm clock for Mac OS X. The software plays music or podcasts from your iTunes library. It costs $8.95.
You can set alarms on a daily or weekly basis, use a sleep timer, adjust the volume of the music and brightness of the screen, put your Mac to sleep and wake it up, view album cover art and more.
New to the 3.0 release is a refreshed user interface, support for podcasts, a new emergency alarm feature, a warning system, support for iTunes libraries stored elsewhere other than the boot volume and more.
A 14-day trial version is available. Awaken is a Universal binary, and requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later and iTunes 6.0 or higher.
