Keyspan on Monday introduced the TuneView for iPod, a new Radio Frequency (RF)-based remote control used for controlling the iPod. It costs $179.
The TuneView features its own color LCD display and two-way RF communication with the iPod, so you can remotely view the contents of your iPod. And since it’s RF-based, it doesn’t need a line of sight to the iPod in order to work — it’ll work through walls, up to 75 feet away from the base, according to Keyspan.
The TuneView base features S-Video output to a television, and also connects to a computer through USB and to a stereo system. It’s compatible with the iPod mini, iPod nano, fourth-generation iPod and fifth-generation iPod. It comes with a USB power adapter, USB cable and audio cables. It comes with dock adapters to fit certain iPod models.
