XtremeMac on Monday announced a new version of its MicroMemo recorder designed to work with Apple’s second-generation iPod nano. MicroMemo costs $59.95 and will ship in early December. Also new is a $29.95 “MemoMic,” a lapel microphone designed to work with the MicroMemo.
The MicroMemo plugs into the dock connector of the iPod nano and enables you to record voice notes, lectures, interviews and other spoken communication directly to the iPod nano’s memory. You control it using on-screen menus. the microphone is detachable, and the device sports a 3.5mm jack that lets you plug in other microphones or line-in devices such as a digital mixer.
The MicroMemo will be available in either silver or black finishes.
