Griffin Technology has announced its iClear and Disko carrying cases for Apple’s second-generation iPod nano. They’ll be available in stores for the holidays for $19.99 and $29.99 respectively.
The iClear is a hard case made of clear polycarbonate that protects the iPod screen from being scratched. It also provides access to the iPod’s click wheel, ports and controls.
The Disko senses movement and responds with colored lights surrounding the click wheel that blink and flash in patterns. Disko is powered by its own batteries so it doesn’t drain the iPod nano’s battery. It comes in either black or clear finishes.
The iClear has been redesigned to work with the second-gen iPod nano; the new Disko case works with both first- and second-gen nanos.
