Pacific Rim Marketing on Friday announced the Opticover Screen/Click Wheel Protector for Apple’s second-generation iPod nano. The company is also offering the iPod nano Second Generation Full Wrap. They cost $8.95 and $14.95 respectively.
The Opticover is manufactured from polyurethane. It’s a thin but tough transparent film that you apply to the surface of the iPod nano that protects the device from scratches and dirt but doesn’t appreciably add to its bulk. There’s no “orange peel” effect, unlike certain other films. The Opticover ships on a special die cut outline and uses an adhesive that leaves no residue on the iPod nano.
The Screen & Click Wheel Protector covers the front of the iPod nano, while the Full Wrap encloses both the front and the back.
