Feral Interactive on Wednesday released a playable demo version of Imperial Glory, their strategy game set during the Napoleonic Era. Measuring in at 807MB, it’s available for download now as a BitTorrent file.
Imperial Glory pits you against other leaders of great empires during the early part of the 19th century, fighting massive land and naval battles as you try to achieve economic, diplomatic and military domination over your rivals.
The demo version of the game lets you play two battles against the computer: An easy battle set in Hannover, or a harder challenge in Cyrenaica. A slideshow is also included that shows the management part of the game, and a video depicts naval warfare.
Imperial Glory is the first game conversion to emerge from Feral in a year and a half.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later, a G4/1.67GHz or faster (it’s a Universal binary), 512MB RAM, hardware-accelerated 3D graphics with at least 64MB VRAM.
