Desktop Transporter, an application that allows you to connect and control remote Macs, has been updated adding several new features. In version 2.0.1, the application has a status tab that lists the local Mac’s IP addresses as well as the port which Desktop Transporter is currently listening on. The update also allows users to change the color depth used for the connection and it lets the user customize the port for incoming connections. A number of other minor bugs have been addressed, as well as improving compatibility with Mac OS X 10.3.9. Desktop Transporter 2.0.1 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and costs $29.95.
