Aquafadas has released PulpMotion, a new application for Mac OS X that lets you create media montages comprising photos, video and music. It costs $25.
You drag and drop photos, movie clips and music files into a visual “theme” or full-motion background template, and PulpMotion does the rest. A variety of themes are included, ranging from business styles to esoteric to comical, according to the developers.
Once you’re satisfied with your work, you can e-mail it to others as an interactive postcard, load the file onto an iPod, use it as a personalized screensaver, export it as a QuickTime movie or publish it to the Web using Apple’s iWeb software.
Interactive elements enable users to pause the presentation to watch movies and listen to the soundtrack. PulpMotion also supports the iSight, so you can pop live video images into the montage as well.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.
