Bruce Fraser, longtime Macworld contributor, author and digital imaging expert, passed away in December after a short bout with lung cancer. He’ll be remembered by friends and colleagues during next week’s Macworld Expo in San Francisco.
All attendees are invited to attend a tribute planned for Fraser on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. The event takes place at the Moscone Center, where the Expo takes place, in room 134 of the North Hall, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
The tribute will be hosted by musician and photographer Graham Nash and is expected to draw a “who’s who” array of imaging and digital photography experts who will share “insider” tales of Bruce’s life, accolades from manufacturers whose products have been improved by Fraser’s inputs and more.
The tribute will culminate in a Scottish toast featuring Fraser’s favorite single-malt scotch (attendees must be 21 years old or older to toast).
Anyone registered in any capacity for Macworld Conference & Expo can attend; just show your conference badge at the door.
