iSkin announced several new product lines at Macworld Expo, including a new series of iPod nano cases, and a line of Cerulean products designed to wirelessly stream music from an iPod.
A new line of tokidoki iSkin Vibes, designed especially for the iPod nano 1st and 2nd generation, joins iSkin’s tokidoki Vibes for the iPod shuffle, iPod mini and iPod with video. The new tokidoki iSkin Vibes for the iPod nano are available for $24.99 and will ship in mid January.
iSkin also introduced the Duo for nano, which boasts a dual-layer design that combines colored anodized impact-resistant aluminum with a premium shock-absorbing silicone layer sporting an Ultra Clear screen area. The Duo will be available mid January for $29.99
iSkin also announced a forthcoming new line of Cerulean products to be released in October, designed to stream music wirelessly and to wirelessly connect an iPod, Bluetooth mobile phone, or computer. Pricing has not yet been set.
Cerulean RX connects to an iPod docking speaker or home hi-fi stereo system to provide wireless capability without batteries or complex configuration. It allows a Cerulean TX-equipped device or a Bluetooth-capable mobile phone to connect and stream its audio to most speaker systems.
Cerulean TX connects to an iPod or computer to transmit sound to any Cerulean RX-equipped speaker system. When connected to an iPod it lets users adjust the volume and other essential iPod controls. Cerulean TX-equipped devices automatically pair with Cerulean R-equipped speakers.
The Cerulean F1 Stereo Bluetooth headset wirelessly connects to an iPod, Bluetooth mobile phone or computer, and provides up to 10 hours of talk time, eight hours of music playback time and up to 300 hours of standby time.
The company also announced a new set of Cerulean X1 (wired) in-ear earphones.
Finally, iSkin is previewing SoHo, a synthetic laptop messenger sleeve. SoHo will come in 13-inch and 15-inch models for the MacBook and MacBook Pro, and will be available in October. Pricing has not yet been set.
