Axentra announced its HipServ personal media software platform supports Apple’s two marquee product announcements from Macworld Expo— Apple TV and the iPhone. HipServ delivers digital media to Apple TV and can both serve and aggregate data to and from the iPhone.
Axentra HipServ lets consumers manage digital devices and centrally store, backup, access, publish, and share their digital content from any location via a web-based interface. Axentra HipServ integrates Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as TV and mobile platforms to manage digital devices. HipServ also supports usage of personal media content with Apple TV to enable remote access, storing and sharing of recorded programming, music and photos from any broadband-enabled computer.
The integrated digital media platform provides users with the ability to manage and sync all devices including cell phones, media players and digital video and still cameras from a centralized Web-based interface.
Axentra HipServ digital home software solution is not sold directly to consumers, but is available now to OEMs and service providers, such as cable providers, on a leased basis. It’s being demonstrated at Macworld Expo booth #N4014-12.
