iSkin on Friday introduced a new like of iSkin Vibes covers for the iPod nano featuring “tokidoki,” a line of Japanese anime-style characters created by Italian artist Simone Legno. They cost $24.99 each.
The casing is a lightweight scratch-resistant slipcover that includes a clear appliqué screen protector to keep the iPod display scratch-free. A rotating “RevoClip2” belt clip is included; it can be removed if you prefer.
Tokidoki designs have become popular with pop music stars and fashionistas since their introduction. iSkin has used tokidoki designs since 2005 on iSkin Vibes modes of for the iPod shuffle and iPod mini as well.
