Guitar player and innovator Les Paul will be using some new equipment this year. The music legend said at NAMM that after four years of talks with Future Sonics, he would be using the company’s Ear Monitors for his live performances.
The Future Sonics gear that Paul will use is among the same gear used by many Macintosh engineers and musicians, both on the road and in the studio. The Future Sonics Ear Monitors are certainly high-end gear, and is also used by many of the biggest performers on the road today.
“The sound is better than anything I’ve heard before — they sound like my favorite studio monitors,” said Paul.
In addition to the Ear Monitors, Paul will also be working with several other companies including Hear Technologies for the MixBack and HearBack systems; the Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Personal Monitor system and MKH microphones; and the Neumann KMS105 Microphone.
In other Future Sonics news, the company announced on Saturday a distribution agreement for the Atrio Series professional universal-fit earphones for the U.S. market with Hear Technologies.
