Sure, Apple’s iPhone was the talk of this month’s Macworld Expo. But beyond Apple’s product announcements, few offerings generated as much buzz among people walking the show floor as the forthcoming ModBook tablet built by Axiotron and sold via Other World Computing.
The ModBook is a 1.83GHz or 2GHz MacBook that’s been converted into a tablet computer—the first Mac offering of its kind. Macworld Senior News Editor Jonathan Seff got his hands on a preproduction model and made a quick video with Assistant Editor Brian Chen that shows the tablet in action.
