HungrySeacow Software has released YummySoup, a recipe management and sharing application for Mac OS X. A free 15-day trial is available, and it costs $20 to register.
YummySoup allows you to browse recipes the same way you browse e-mail, adjustable to a full screen view. You can navigate your menu library similarly to iPhoto. Recipes can include images, ratings, difficulty ratings, ethnicity references, attributions, and information on yield, prep time and cooking time.
YummySoup also links to an online database of recipes you can copy to your own local recipes; you can publish recipes you’d like to share. You can also e-mail recipes with an included export file, so other YummySoup users can import them easily.
YummySoup enables you to print out shopping lists with sets of ingredients, and you can remove sets if you change your mind on what you want to cook.
