MacTank has updated MailTank, its customer e-mail management service for small businesses. MacTank is a Web-based service designed to streamline customer service management. Pricing costs $15 per user, per month.
MailTank lets you look at e-mail your business receives, track threads and customer service trends, access e-mail from Palm and Windows Mobile devices, get rid of viruses and spam, and maintain contact information.
New features in MacTank include “Type2Find” templates, which let you type the first few letters of a reply and have the rest filled out by the Message Editor; Rapid Reply, which lets you answer multiple messages at the same time using a single template reply; and TrainingTank, which helps users learn MailTank’s features in a simulated environment.
Existing features have also been improved, such as more clearly identifying assigned users in message queues; automatic updates for hyperlinks in customer records; and relative dates in the message queue.
