Hagiwara Sys-Com has announced the availability of HSC ExpressCard/34 flash memory cards. The cards fit into the expansion slots of PC and Mac laptops equipped with ExpressCard/34 expansion slots, including the MacBook Pro. Prices range from $66.50 – $440 depending on capacity.
The cards feature NAND-based flash memory in capacities of 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB for $66.50, $123.30, $231.70 and $440 respectively. Hagiwara measures read speed at 32MB per second and write speed at 22MB per second. The flash drives are plug and play compatible with Mac OS X v10.4 or later.
