PhotoWorks has announced the release of a Macintosh version of PhotoStreamer2, free software that connects iPhoto to the PhotoWorks Web site.
PhotoWorks is a Web-based service that enables you to to order prints, cards, photo books, calendars and keepsakes of your digital photos. The PhotoStreamer2 software, which works with iPhoto and other digital photo applications on the Mac, automates the process of uploading digital photos to PhotoWorks accounts.
PhotoStreamer2 features full-screen viewing, captioning, rotation and shuffle capabilities, so you can share a slideshow or make photo books. You can “zoom in” to view fewer photos or “zoom out” to view more, and you can select any number of images for simultaneous captioning and rotation.
A new “Prints Express” feature lets you place orders for up to hundreds of prints; you enter your information first then queue up your order, so you don’t have to wait for your pictures to upload before you can get the order started. You can customize your prints by selecting desired paper finish and border style; you can also zoom and trim pics to fill up the entire photo paper.
