Not happy with the battery performance of your MacBook? Fastmac has introduced an extended-life battery for the MacBook that lasts 10 percent longer than Apple’s stock battery, the company claims. It costs $99.95 — $30 less than an Apple battery replacement.
The battery comes in black or white, and uses lithium polymer cells rated at 60 watt hours. It features integrated charge indicator LEDs. It’s available for pre-order now and is expected within 30 days.
Fastmac batteries feature “TruePower” technology, which uses sensors to detect undesirable swelling or short circuits that can power off the battery. And Fastmac says the batteries don’t use any Sony cells — Sony initiated a massive recall in 2006 that affected Apple and other companies.
