Native Instruments (NI) has released an update for its software synthesizer, Massive. According to the company the update expands Massive’s high-resolution synthesis engine with Virtual Analog Oscillators and a new filter model. The update also adds a wide range of other improvements to the KORE-enabled flagship synthesizer, according to NI. Massive 1.1 includes additional wavetables and noise oscillator modes,a new randomize function for envelopes and modulators, and a wide range of usability improvements, as well as an expanded sound library with over 140 additional presets. The 1.1 update is available as a free download for all registered users of Massive on the NI website. A new Massive demo based on version 1.1 is now also available for download on the NI website.
