RAGE Software on Tuesday announced the release of RAGE Macintosh Explorer 4.5, an update to their tabbed file browser and file management software for Mac OS X. A free update for registered user, RAGE Macintosh Explorer costs $15.95 to register.
RAGE Macintosh Explorer brings “tree-view” navigation style to the Macintosh, similar to the Windows Explorer. It lets you view your files in thumbnails, browse directories and filter results. It’s positioned not just as an alternative way of navigating Finder directories but also as a transitionary tool for Windows converts.
RAGE Macintosh Explorer 4.5 is now available as a Universal binary. It includes new file sorting features as well; you can now group directories together when sorting files.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or 9.x or later. A 14-day trial version is available for download.
