Griffin Technology on Tuesday announced its newest line of iPod cases. The cases are expected to hit retail shelves in the coming months with prices ranging from $19.99 to $29.99.
The Reflect for iPod with video and nano is a $24.99 case that features a reflective polycarbonate shell that hides the screen under normal circustances. But when the iPod’s display is backlit, the screen becomes visible through the tinted case.
The Centerstage for iPod with video with mirror finish is an updated version of the flip stand-equipped iPod case. Like the Reflect, it’s made of mirrored polycarbonate material that turns translucent when the backlighting is active. It includes an anodized aluminum stand and costs $24.99.
The iClear Photo for iPod with video and nano costs $24.99 and $19.99 respectively. First announced as the iClear Custom, it’s a clear polycarbonate case that lets you insert your own artwork or photo, while providing access to all ports and controls.
The $29.99 Trio Plus for iPod nano includes a three-way leather case and inner sleeve that protects the iPod while you use it. Five wraparound covers are included. You can also snap on a cover with a steel clip for belt, bag or armband use. Two color configurations are available: A black sleeve with red, blue and silver colors, and a white sleeve with pink, sky blue and yellow colors.
The California Roll is a soft-sided roll-up case suitable for stashing the iPod, earphones and other accessories. It uses three mesh pockets in a no-scratch sleeve and two additional pockets that hold earphones, cords and more.
