Electronic Arts (EA) on Thursday announced that music tracks from its video games, past and present, are now available through iTunes. The music appears on the EA Trax web site, and can be purchased through iTunes using links on those pages.
The customized iMixes feature original music commissioned for game soundtracks and versions of popular songs from top artists. Offerings include the soundtracks to new games like Burnout Dominator (featuring tracks from Trivium, Army of Me, Alice in Chains and others); past hits like Tiger woods PGA Tour 2003 (featuring Silverchair, DJ Paul Oakenfold and others), and more.
Some of the collections feature exclusive remixes, non-album cuts and previously unavailable international tracks, according to EA.
The songs go live in North America today and will be available soon throughout Europe.
