I’m not very good with animals, but I like this idea that they should be extended all the courtesy of humans. Then again, if that’s the way it’s going to go, they need to clean up their own vomit, and start using the bathroom. Maybe then we can talk about getting Fluffy a $29.95

Anyway, I guess it’s not such a bad thing for pets to be able to signal their need to go out, though I remain somewhat skeptical that pets are going to be able to figure out this whole doorbell concept. Especially cats (well known for their hatred of doorbells).
