iPod accessory-maker Keyspan on Tuesday released a firmware update for its iPod remote control, TuneView. According to Keyspan, the update increases scrolling speed, adds the ability to jump to a specified first letter within a large list and improves overall wake-from-sleep performance. TuneView for iPod consists of a dock that connects an iPod to a stereo and/or TV, and an RF remote with color LCD that allows you to browse and manage iPod music and videos. TuneView costs $179 — the free firmware update is available from the company’s Web site.
