Eloquent Software has released an update for its Safari extension, LiveDictionary. The extension offers a convenient dictionary lookup to the web. Once installed, LiveDictionary becomes a transparent part of Safari, according to the developer. LiveDictionary offers a variety of dictionaries for technical terms, general language and bilingual usage. The update added French and Japanese localizations, compatibility with Ultralingua 6 and minor improvements in Asian languages word search. LiveDictionary 1.2.7 requires Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) or later — it costs $25.
