BIAS on Wednesday announced it’s shipping its Master Perfection Suite for Mac OS X. The suite combines six audio processing plug-ins for musicians and audio engineers, and costs $599.
Master Perfection Suite includes Repli-Q, a spectral matching tool, PitchCraft, used for pitch correction and manipulation, the analysis tool Reveal, Sqweez-3 and -5 multi-band dynamic processing software, the SuperFreq paragraphic equalizer and GateEx, used as a gate/expander.
If some of those sound familiar, it’s because the plug-ins are also included as part of BIAS’s Peak Pro XT 5, the company’s popular stereo waveform editor. All of the plug-ins are Universal binaries that run natively on Intel and PowerPC-based Macs alike, and work with host application software that supports either Apple’s Audio Units or VST standards. That includes Cubase, Nuendo, Digital Performer, GarageBand, Live, Logic Pro and Logic Express and others. BIAS notes that RTAS (Pro Tools) and Windows VST support is coming “later this year” at no additional charge.
BIAS’s Web site had not been updated with information about the new suite as Macworld posted this article.
