Mac upgrade maker Fastmac on Friday announced the availability of LCD display replacements for newer video-capable iPods and second-generation iPod nanos. The replacements cost $49.95 and $59.95, respectively.
The replacement program can fix a broken video iPod or second-generation iPod nano display by replacing the LCD itself (FastMac also offers screen replacements for other iPod models). The replacement is “do-it-yourself” — tools and instructions are included — but the company also offers 24-hour installation service for an additional $39.95.
