The Flux 2007 iPod Film Festival is online, with all finalist short films now available for free download.
The festival awards prizes to filmmakers in the categories of Student Film, Indie Film and “The Kitchen Sink.” Viewer ratings determine the winners, along with the festival jury — this year, that includes Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
Each film is less than ten minutes long, designed to work well on the iPod. This is the second year of the festival — it was developed to help budding filmmakers get some exposure, and to help video iPod owners get some cool free content for their iPods.
The festival’s coordinators have set up an RSS feed so you can subscribe to the festival as a podcast, watching and voting for your favorite films. Links on the home page will bring you to individual entries, which you can watch or vote for.
The films will be available for download until June 28, 2007. If you download the content, please remember to vote.
