VMware has released Fusion beta 3, the latest version of the company’s virtualization software for the Mac. In addition to several new features, the new beta includes many speed improvements making this version much faster than its predecessors, according to the company.
Fusion now recognizes users Boot Camp partition and can use it without any additional configuration. For users that install a new version of Windows, Fusion now includes Windows Easy Install, a wizard to make install and setup easier.
Other new features include virtual machine bundles, which encapsulates virtual machines in a single bundle making them easier to move. Improving speed significantly, users now have the option to turn off debugging mode, which has been on in previous versions.
