Tunewear has announced the Prie Moccasin and Prie Rawhide cases for the fifth-generation iPod and the iPod nano. Each case costs $29.95.
The Prie Mocassin — available for either the video iPod or the iPod nano — comes in five colors — pink, blue, yellow, green and black. It’s made of vachetta leather or nappa leathr depending on the finish and includes a hand strap. Tunewear says the material softens and mellows with age. The hand strap has a removable metal hook for easy detachment from the case, and the flip cover uses a magnet to stay securely in place.
The interior of each case is lined with felt, and the case comes with “Tunefilm” protective film to cover the iPod screen and click wheel. The iPod model also includes space inside the cover to hold credit or business cards. An access hole in the bottom provides pass through connectivity for a dock connector.
The Prie Rawhide comes in five different looks — black nappa with five eyelets; distressed with four eyelets; distressed thread stitch; distressed side stitch and tan hunter cross stitch. Like the Mocassin, it’s available either for the 5G iPod or iPod nano.
The cases include a built-in belt clip and magnet-locking flip cover, include felt trim in the interior and Tunefilm to protect the iPod screen and click wheel. The inside of the 5G case also sports room for cards.
