By moving your thumb over the iPod’s click wheel, you’ll see suggested color schemes appear in the four corners. Hold your iPod next to objects in order to match base colors.
Your base color is marked with an arrow on the inner wheel. The outer wheel will show 16 shades of the base color for you to choose from; you have access to 384 color schemes, each numbered. RGB values are also provided.
