Razer, the company best known to Mac users for its Pro|Click optical mouse, has announced that it’s accepting orders for its new Pro|Type keyboard. The Pro|Type features a white design and built-in iPod docking station. It will ship on April 20, 2007 and costs $129.99.
The Pro|Type features ten quick access media keys and the ability to swap keyboard profiles on program detection. It includes line-out and two USB ports to connect to other peripherals, and incorporates one-touch media hot keys.
The low-profile keyboard purportedly features ultra touch-sensitive keys, which provide more precise key response. A large wrist rest area enables you to prop your hands comfortably while typing.
The Pro|Type’s design is also complementary to the Razer Pro|Click mouse — it features white plastic with blue accents.
But what makes the Pro|Type truly unique is its integration of a docking station from the iPod — it enables you to synchronize and charge your iPod without needing a separate cable or dock interface.
