AppleScript Pro Sessions are five-day training seminars that teach you the ins and outs of integrating AppleScript into your application workflow. The next one is set for June in Colorado, and will feature information for Adobe Creative Suite 3 users.
AppleScript is the automation technology built into Mac OS X. It’s leverage in Automator, an application that comes with Mac OS X v10.4, and it’s used extensively by third-party applications. The five-day sessions cover the full gamut of AppleScript use, for beginners who want to understand how the technology works to pros looking to implement AppleScript into their workflows to automate commonly used tasks.
AppleScript Pro Sessions will devote nearly two full days of coverage to InDesign, according to the event’s coordinators, with another day focusing on Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. Other sessions cover FileMaker Pro, BBEdit and Mac OS X, as well as an introductory day.
