RadTech on Wednesday announced the release of the BT400GL, a $64.95 in-ear Bluetooth headset that works with the Mac, Bluetooth-equipped cell phones and other devices.
The BT400GL comes in either silver or pink finishes and weighs 8.5 grams (less than one-third of an ounce) and measures 39mm (about 1 and a half inches). RadTech claims the device offers 350 hours of standby battery life and more than 15 hours of talking time.
The in-ear design blocks out outside noise using three different sizes of ear tips. The ear tips are coated with “Nano,” an anti-bacterial rubber formulation that purportedly neutralizes bacteria and viruses.
The BT400GL ships with a power cradle that can be used to store the headset when not in use, and can be carried in a pocket or purse.
