iSkin is expanding its line of iPod accessories with new “Cerulean”-branded wireless devices that use Bluetooth to communicate. The products include a transmitter, receiver and headset.
The Cerulean TX is a plug and play stereo Bluetooth transmitter that connects to the iPod’s dock connector. It works in conjunction with the companion RX to send wireless audio to a speaker system or other output device. An auxiliary jack also lets you plug in other devices that have a headphone output. The Cerulean TX and RX are bundled for $149.99.
The Cerulean F1 combines a Bluetooth stereo earphone with a mono mobile headset, so it’s designed to work both with the Cerulean TX and with the audio output capabilities a Bluetooth-equipped mobile phone. It can simultaneously be connected to a TX and to a phone, and will automatically switch to “headset” mode when a call is received. The F1 features volume controls, track controls and pause capabilities. It will cost $129.99.
