Registration is open for the Austin Game Developer Conference, scheduled to take place from Sep. 5 – 7, 2007 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
The event is a local followup to the worldwide GDC which happens in March in San Francisco, Calif. Austin is a hotbed of computer and console game development.
The Austin GDC features four separate conference tracks: Online games, audio for games, writing for games, and the “people’s choice” track. Registrants will be able to vote for the sessions they want to see most in the People’s Choice track — the highest-ranked sessions will be accepted into the conference.
The organizers of the Austin GDC are now accepting submissions for speakers interested in presenting sessions at the Austin GDC. More information is available on the Web site.
