Acclivity on Tuesday announced the release of MarketBlast 2.0, a major upgrade to its eBay auction management software for Mac OS X and Windows. It costs $199 (upgrades from the previous release are free).
MarketBlast is billed as an “eBay Control Panel.” It helps business owners who rely on eBay to sell goods (MarketBlast is aimed at eBay sellers who list more than five items a week, but not for those looking for multi-channel support). Features include the ability to track inventory, create listings, handle Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and perform trend analysis. The fee is one-time only; there’s no monthly charge.
New features in MarketBlast 2.0 include integration with PayPal for payment processing and Endicia for postage; a free 5MB FTP image hosting account through AuctionAssist.net; new automation features, Schedule C reports, sell similar items, track weight, backup auctions and MarketBlast data; password protection, hit counters and an updated Ledger.
