Sierra Sound has announced the release of the iN Studio 5.0, a new set of high-end studio monitor-style speakers for the iPod. They cost $399 and come in black, white and red finishes.
iN Studio 5.0 is a two-piece speaker system that features a built-in iPod dock, 50 watt dynamic amplifier, two auxiliary inputs and S-Video output. The speakers each contain a one-inch silk tweeter and five-inch paper cone, as well as a tuned bass port. Each speaker measures 10 x 7 x 7 3/4 inches.
An infrared remote is included; it lets you control your iPod and the volume level on the two auxiliary inputs. A headphone jack lets you listen privately. iPod dock adapters and cables are included.
