Nova Development has announced that it’s released a special retail edition of Disco, Austin Sarner’s disc burning software for Mac OS X. Disco Deluxe Edition costs $39.99 and began shipping to retail stores this week.
Disco sports a unique interface for burning data to CDs and DVDs, including a “smoke” effect that shows you when the disc is actually being burnt. It can span multiple discs, features multi-session support, handles VIDEO_TS folder burning, and features “Discography,” a library feature that lets you search through archives of the files you’ve burnt to disc and “Crossroads,” the software’s workflow interface.
Unique to the Deluxe Edition, Nova Development’s retail version includes CD and DVD disc labeling software and dozens of labels and templates. You can also make your own covers using the provided software.
Disco Deluxe Edition requires a G3 or faster (including Intel) and Mac OS X v10.4.3, 512MB RAM and a recordable CD or DVD drive.
