Logitech business unit 3Dconnexion has introduced a new version of the Mac drivers for its SpaceNavigator input device that enable it to work with Google Earth for Mac. The update is free for users; the SpaceNavigator is available starting at $59.
The SpaceNavigator is designed to be used as an alternate input method to a mouse or keyboard. It features a “cap” controller that lets you push, pull, twist or tilt to pan, zoom and rotate 3D imagery.
The software already supports Google Sketchup, Maya, Form-Z and Adobe Photoshop CS3. This new driver adds support for Google Earth for Mac, working on Mac OS X v10.4.6 or later.
