Mariner Software has released MacJournal 4.1.2, an update to the journaling and blogging application for Mac OS X. A free update for registered 4.0 customers, MacJournal 4.1.2 costs $34.95.
MacJournal enables you to keep a personal journal with two levels of security (password protection and encryption). You can use it to manage daily ideas, lists and other content, exporting them to multiple file formats. If they’re thoughts you’d like to share with the world, MacJournal also has blog generation tools that enable you to publish to the Web.
New to this release of MacJournal is support for the Missing Sync for Palm, Mark/Space’s Palm PDA synchronization software for the Mac. Also new is support for iWeb, the Web publishing application included with Apple’s iLife ‘06 suite. You can also import database content from the Stickies application. Support has been added for NetNewsWire, the popular RSS newsreading software, and numerous localizations and bug fixes have also been made.
