Virtual Programming has announced the release of a new add-on pack to Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday called Armageddon. It’s available exclusively for online purchase and download for $9.95 directly from the VP Web site.
Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday is the turn-based strategy game from Paradox Interactive that takes another look at World War II. It’s a “What If” style game that focuses on what would have happened if the United States and Soviet Union had clashed following the collapse of Nazi Germany in World War II.
Armageddon is a “booster pack” that picks up where Doomsday leaves off, and requires the original game in order to function. It offers two new alternative history scenarios, new attachments for naval units, the ability to build land units with brigades already attached, and new damage algorithms for the air combat system.
Armageddon was only recently released for the PC version of Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday — it shipped in late March.
System requirements call for Hearts of Iron II Doomsday, Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, G3/500MHz or faster (including Intel) and 256MB RAM.
