ScotteVest has announced two new products as part of its Technology Enabled Clothing (TEC) line — a new $44.99 Performance Polo shirt and $99.99 Ultimate Hoodie. Both contain pockets for iPods.
ScotteVest’s clothing line incorporates what the company calls a “Personal Area Network.” It’s designed to let you carry and use electronic devices while concealing wires from earbuds and headsets.
The Performance Polo is available in black, smoke and olive. It features a zippered chest pocket big enough for an 80GB iPod. The shirt is designed to let you wear an iPod or other device without stretching or weighing down the fabric. The fabric also wicks sweat away from your skin.
The Ultimate Hoodie incorporates 11 different pockets and compartments to carry your gear. It includes a specifically designed sunglasses pocket, pen pockets and change pocket. Magnetic closures on the front pockets prevent devices from falling out. An extendable key holder is also included, along with a bottle holder and two-way zipper.
ScotteVest said in a press release that the Ultimate Hoodie will retail for $69.99 when it goes on sale in June but is available for pre-order for $49.99 until then; the Web site shows different prices: $99.99 for regular price, $39.99 for pre-order.
