MCE Technologies on Monday announced its MobileStor Performance 250GB internal hard disk drive upgrade for MacBook and MacBook Pro. The new 250GB model ships June 1, 2007 for $279.
The drive operates at 5400RPM and comes with an external chassis you can use to transplant your laptop’s old hard drive into. Also included is SuperDuper disk cloning and backup software, tools you’ll need to open your laptop and an illustrated instruction manual.
The 2.5-inch SATA external drive enclosure features eSATA and USB 2.0 interfaces. It features a heat dissipator on its top, and shows blue and red LEDs to indicate power and activity.
