Ecamm Network on Tuesday introduce CardRaider 1.2, a new version of its Mac OS X recovery software for restoring images from digital camera memory cards. It costs $19.95, and the upgrade is free for registered users.
CardRaider lets you restore lost or deleted photos and pictures stored on corrupted memory cards. Recovered images can be sent directly to iPhoto. It will restore images that are on damaged or reformatted cards that don’t appear in the Finder, and can also be used to securely delete content from cards.
Previous versions worked with JPEG images. The new release supports Canon Raw and Canon Raw 2, Nikon Raw, Adobe Digital Negative (DNG), Konica Minolta Raw, Fuji Raw, Olympus Raw, Pentax Raw, Sony Raw 2, Panasonic Raw, Kodak Raw, Leaf Raw and Sigma Raw.
A free demo is available. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later.
