Storage specialist WiebeTech on Wednesday began accepting pre-orders for new 1 Terabyte hard drives. The company said the drives would start shipping in many of its storage products including ProSATA, SilverSATA, TrayDock and others. The new hard drives are SATA II with differing speed modes, a 32MB buffer, quieting acoustics, SMART and a 7200RPM spindle speed. The company’s Web site lists the availability of the the terabyte drives as June 7, 2007. Pricing varies depending on the model you choose.
