CS Odessa on Thursday announced the general availability of
ConceptDraw 7, a major new upgrade to its vector drawing and diagramming software package. ConceptDraw 7 costs $299; an upgrade from previous versions is $99. A free trial demo version is available for download.
ConceptDraw 7 helps you produce everything from network diagrams to flow charts, electrical diagrams, work flows, org charts, site maps, floor plans, chore charts and more. It features task-specific templates, “Quick Start” wizards, a library of more than 5,000 shapes, support for MS Visio XML data interchange, database connectivity and a built-in scripting language.
New to ConceptDraw 7 is native support for Intel-based Macs, along with a greatly improved user interface. The software also adds new colorful objects to the shapes libraries used in floor plans and business diagrams. Print mode and document printing setup has been redesigned, and the select method for measuring units from the ruler has been improved, along with color manipulation using a drop tool and a new color palette.
